Supplements and Pets: Omega-3 fatty acids and Milk Thistle

Fatty acids, especially cold water fish oil, recommended the man for lowering triglycerides, reducing secondary cardiovascular disease (and probably the underlying disease,) decreased cardiac arrhythmias, lowering blood pressure, improvement and rheumatoid arthritis. You may also be useful in the prevention and treatment of stroke, cancer, allergies and mild depression. Since fish oil can be taken for many months, the lowest vitamin, most products contain added vitamin E.

InPet fish oil to be beneficial for heart disease, cancer, allergies, arthritis, kidney disease and autoimmune diseases. I use high doses (2-4 times the label dose) in most of my patients and their conventional medicines may be decreased.

The side effects of supplementation with fatty acids are rare. Fish oil may decrease platelet aggregation and prolong bleeding time. occur, contamination of fish meat (not oil) and methyl mercury can. The human literature reports that fish oil can be easilyLDL (bad cholesterol), although this does not appear to increase the municipality or of any consequence in many cases. The human literature reports multiple cases of bleeding (in brain), when combined with a high dose doses of ginkgo. I have no side effects in my patients, except in rare cases where some dogs that smell of fish seen.

Milk Thistle is a well-known liver tonic. Milk thistle extract protects liver by stabilizing cell membranes of liver cells in AIDSDetoxification of toxins (particularly from the gastrointestinal tract, absorbed) stimulates protein synthesis and regeneration of damaged liver cells (in fact, help to heal the sick cells) and also acts as an antioxidant.

Milk Thistle is one of my favorite supplements for almost all diseases, such as the liver is involved in all diseases. Many of my clients holistically as extra liver during treatment with any conventional medication, althoughManage monthly heartworm and flea medicines. Milk thistle is very safe to use and I have never seen any side effects of their use. On the basis of general guidelines for the safety of people, it's probably best not to use it in pregnant animals without veterinary supervision. According to some herbalists that can be used long term, lead to depression of liver function, chronic liver disease, if present. Milk Thistle is not recommended for use in domestic animals rather than normal to have liver disease orEffects on the liver.
