Protecting animals during the summer holidays

The holidays are a lot of fun, but the noise and chaos can frighten them. Some animals can become aggressive or traumatized. Animals can be overloaded if the city to shoot fireworks. Holidays like Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day, can be very difficult for pets because most animals are extremely sensitive to noise. A couple of things you can do to help your pet during this period include;

Create a safe place for the animal. Take the dog outdoors inside. Treat yourCats hide under the bed or in the closet. Do not force your animal to be socially to enable them to hide.

Use non-dependence relaxers like "Rescue Remedy". Or, if your pet has bad reactions noise and chaos, you have your veterinarian prescribe some sedatives. Start to give Rescue Remedy or sedatives for a few hours before the noise starts soon.

Limit the exposure of your pet for children and other animals at this time. If your pet is concerned thatfrom the noise and chaos that may show signs of aggression. A rule docile cat or dog can bite or attack a child or another animal when overloaded with anxiety and confusion.

If you hide your pet in a closet or under the bed, leave them alone. Some people try to baby their pets. Animals usually only feel safe. If your pet is scared and comes to you, by all means offer comfort. But if you hide your pet, do not go. The truth will come out, if it is morerelaxed and ready to be social.

These tips also work well if your pet is afraid of thunder or lightning.
